Fleet Alliance has been shortlisted for the Customer Focus and the Croner Employer of the Year awards at the National Business Awards.

The two nominations follow a string of award successes for the Glasgow-based firm this year, which include being voted the Best Place to Work in Scotland and achieving fifth place overall in the Best Place to Work in the UK by the independent Great Place to Work Institute.

The news comes as the firms largest client, Gala Coral, which operates a fleet of more than 400 vehicles, recently renewed its contract, helping to boost customer satisfaction ratings, which already stand at 98%.

Through its Green Fleet service, the firm has also worked to reduce its clients' CO2 emissions by an average of 13%, giving a total reduction of 6.2bn grams over the last five years.

"Investing in a highly motivated team and providing them with the efficient tools and systems they require allows us to deliver a consistently excellent service to our clients,” said Fleet Alliance managing director Martin Brown. "Our customer service strategy is closely linked to our ongoing growth and planned expansions, which will see us reach a fleet of 11,000 vehicles over the next 18 months."

Earlier this summer, Fleet Alliance was shortlisted as Employer of the Year in the Scottish Business Awards and the company has received Investors in People accreditation for the last 11 years, achieving Silver Status, which is awarded to less than 5% of businesses in the UK.
